Ground Chicken Kebab Recipe
Ingredients:
- 600g boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 2 large onions, grated
- 4 garlic cloves, grated
- 50g butter, melted
- 2 tbsp brewed saffron
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken breast, ground coriander seeds, salt, pepper, turmeric, onions, and garlic. Mix well with your hands until everything is evenly combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a small amount of oil to the pan.
- Remove the chicken mixture from the refrigerator and form it into 4 patties. Place the patties in the hot skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the saffron and stir to combine.
- Once the chicken is cooked, brush it with the butter-saffron mixture. Serve immediately with rice or bread.
Tips:
- For a more flavorful kebab, you can marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- If you don't have a non-stick skillet, you can cook the kebabs in a regular skillet over medium heat. Just be sure to add a little more oil to the pan to prevent sticking.
- You can also grill the kebabs. Preheat your grill to medium heat and cook the kebabs for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Serve the kebabs with your favorite sides, such as rice, bread, or vegetables.
